Aplaus Food Directory

This is the second time "Aplaus" come out with its food directory. This one is "A to Z Medan Food Directory 2014". Inside, there is more than seventy pages of directories. It covers up most of Medan's food places from sidewalk foods to the best restaurants in the city, from Cuba, Chinese, Japan, Korean to Thailand food, from tea and coffee to cake, bakery, and pastry. It is the most complete food directories I have ever read. For additional, there are some inspiring and informative articles, too.

Review: The Body Shop Nutriganics Drops of Youth

Hey there :) I hope you enjoy your friday night :D 

As you can see, it is one of The Body Shop's product called NUTRIGANICS Drops of Youth. I have been using it a lot and this one is my fourth one. Yup! You didn't read it wrong. It's my fourth one. I am not a typical person who like to use skincare products a lot although I know they are very good for my skin. This one is exceptional!

I usually put this on before bed at night, and rinse it when I shower the next day. My face is incredibly smoother after using this. Sometimes, my face can look a little bit dull and pale (I don't know why), but after applying this to my face the night before, my face will look radiant. Oh it's like my magic wand ;;)

This stuff is sooooo gooodddd that I raved it a lot. I raved it to my sister and after seeing me using it (plus tried on her skin), she, who has sensitive skin (and is very careful in picking up her skincare products), even bought her own one. So, if you guys are having the same problem with me, try NUTRIGANICS Drops of Youth.

Highly Anticipated

Can't tell you how happy I am to receive this as my 'monthly anniversary' surprise <3 Thank you very much to my boyfriend for getting me TRIO LESTARI SHOW's ticket. Big yayyyy!!! *jump for happiness* He really knows me very very well. I have been wanting to watch their show again after having our first one in 2011 together with another friend and it was a very nice one. 

And I couldn't be happier to know that it is said he is the very first person to get this presale ticket from PRAMBORS RADIO. Does it mean that we are the first couple to get the ticket out of many people in my city? *so curious*

I picked up these two books from self-help section in a bookstore called BOOKS&BEYOND. I made a member card and directly got 20% off for my first purchase plus voucher worth IDR100.000. The member card valids for two years.

Whenever YOU believe

"Whether you think you can or you think you can't - you are right." Henry Ford

Do you know why I capitalize the word 'you' in the title? As you think of the answer, I'll tell you another thing first.

Have you ever listen to the song entitled When You Believe?  It is a song by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. This is one part of its lyrics:

"There can be miracles when you believe. Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill. Who knows what miracles you can achieve. When you believe, somehow you will. You will when you believe."

I think the lyrics explain everything. Miracles will come to you when you believe. Although you are not in a good state now (which I hope you are all in a good one), at some point, eventually you will be in one good condition. It is a matter of time. When you have lost your hope at the hardest time of your life, you have to still believe that you can face it. There is a rainbow after the rain. People who love you will always support you. You can always count on them. 

Then, why should I capitalize the 'you'? Because it has to be you. Yes, YOU! Every single one of you. You have to believe yourself. If you don't have the believe inside your heart (even your friends or other people believe in you), it won't work anyway. Whenever you believe, everything will work your way.

Just remember, hard times are not only coming to you, but also to me and others. Other people and I are also facing ours. It will bring us to the next level of maturity, which is actually good for us, right? So, let's lift our heads up and look forward to our better lives.

Audrey Hepburn - Breakfast at Tiffany's

"If I'm honest I have to tell you I still read fairy tales and I like them best of all." Audrey Hepburn

Two weeks ago, I watched a movie called "Breakfast at Tiffany's" which was starred by Audrey Hepburn. It is an old movie from 1960s but its fame still lasts until now. Before I watched this movie, what I know about Audrey Hepburn is that she is an icon to the classic style. I never google how she looked like or paid any special attention to her. That's why I was so surprised when I saw her doing make-up in the movie. She looked incredibly beautiful, I must admit. Very very beautiful. I don't think I have admired someone at the beginning of the movie before. 

Most dresses she wore in the movie are timeless pieces. The most popular one is the black evening gown she wore at the movie when she was looking through Tiffany while having her morning coffee. 

What caught my attention is her accent in the movie and how she acts throughout the movie. It really brings gracefulness and elegance out of herself. I really adore her style and behavior.  For sure, her timeless wardrobe, too. If you have time, you should check this movie out.

Good Sunday

Hey there :) Welcome to my blog!

It's Sunday here. And I have been out with some friends. Unfortunately, we didn't happen to take a picture. We did sit in a restaurant for three and a half hours. Quite a long time hehe. None of us realized it until we saw our watches when we went home.  But, nobody in the restaurant seemed to bother.
