Tips: Going Out For Buffet - All You Can Eat Sushi Tei Medan

Yesterday, we went for All You Can Eat from Sushi Tei in my city, Medan. People are welcoming this promo very well. 16th June 2014 was the first day of the deal. I arrived at one of the outlets at approximately 7.30pm. There were so many people. Luckily, we still got empty seats for five people in front of sushi bar. Hoho. The staffs are very nice and friendly. They served us very well. I am so satisfied with the service that day. Although there were so crowded (after 8pm, people still keep on coming and coming), when we wanted to order again, it didn't take them too long to come to us for taking our orders, which is very great, right?

So, here are the tips for you who want to enjoy buffet package.
  1. Come earlier. Definitely, lunch/dinner time will be the time when the restaurant are fully crowded. You don't want to waste your time waiting for your orders to come, meanwhile you only have two hours maximum to stay for eating (it's one of the rules from SushiTei). So, plan out your meal time :)
  2. Calm yourself. Haha. It's very true, though. You know we were so tempted to order everything in the menu (they have special menu for the promo), but we had to hold back a little bit because sometimes the order didn't come as quick as you think. When it came late, we tend to take foods from sushibar. They were all so tempting, moreover if they were just prepared and put on the conveyor belt. Owh, I just feel that I want everything that are put on the conveyor belt. Haha..
  3. Sit in front of the sushi bar (if you don't mind about privacy). Personally, I think sushi bar is the best place to sit when you visit a Japanese restaurant. I find it more interesting than any other places throughout the restaurant. Well, it's just personal preference. But, if you sit in front of the sushi bar, you'll get the chance to see how the menus look like in real life. The pictures on the paper are too small that they weren't shown well. For more, you can get the fresher sushi menus directly from the kitchen (don't have to wait anymore).
  4. Don't waste any foods. This is the rule for almost every buffet restaurant. You will be charged normal price for every food you waste.
Salmon Oyako Roll

Salmon Sushi

Chicken Katsu

Stamina Roll

Crunchy Lobster Roll

Salmon Head Teriyaki

Mango pudding. Very very fresh and delicious >.<

Matcha pudding. The flavor is very thick.

Coffee pudding. The flavor is very thick. Yum yum <3
They were not all. I was too concentrate in eating and forget to capture other n orders. You see even some pictures shown above are being eaten before I managed to take the pictures. We also ordered ebi mentai sushi (which is very savoury), nori tempura, chawan mushi, aburi salmon roll, tempura udon, beef katsu, edamame, chuka wakame, agedashi tofu, salmon head shio, ikura gunkan, chicken karaage salad, salmon tornado roll, and fuji roll. All dishes are very delicious. And now I am thinking of taking somebody there again to eat :$ Why oh why sushi is hard to resist?

There are more or less 100 variants of dishes for you to choose. Pick anything from the belt or from the menu prepared. If you are a sushi lover, it is worth every penny. Two days left before it's too late. So, go try it out if you are in Medan... Only at SushiTei Medan

Review: Skin Food Black Sugar Mask Wash Off

I know, I know. It's not a new thing. In fact, it's also not new to my sight, but it's new in my room ;) I have been eyeing this mask since 2013. Not particularly this type. I fell for the strawberry one before, still with the black sugar in it but it seems like strawberry is not a good  thing for acne. It's what I heard. Please tell me is it true? Because, honestly I love strawberry so much :( In the end, I purchased the black sugar mask.

When I opened the package for the first time, it smells realllllll good. It smells citrusy and is actually quite strong, in a good way of course. It is like lemon dessert in a cafe which can make you salivate only by looking at it. Somehow, one day when I rinsed the mask off, it was flowing to my mouth. To be honest it isn't nice, it tastes bitter. Ewh! I don't recommend you to taste it in any way. However, you should definitely try this on your face <3

Can you see the sugar granules at the top edge of the container? (and of course inside it.) Those sugar granules are pretty amazing. I have these white tiny thing on my nose, I don't know what it is called. I think people called it whiteheads. It is something you can't notice if you are far away but if you touch it you can feel that my nose is not smooth enough. I scooped out the black sugar mask and scrubed it all over my face. But before, do REMEMBER:
  1. Please be gentle ;;) I mean those are sugar though, you might not want to irritate your face. Don't push the sugar too hard to your face.
  2. Skip the place where your acnes are. It might be too harsh for your acnes. Just leave it alone.
  3. Damp your face before you put this mask on to your face so it won't irritate your face. Then you may scrub it gently, making a circular motion onto your face.
When you leave it for another 10-15mins, it will look like you are tan :D

OK! Now, RESULTS. Yayy!!! Yay!!! Yay!!!
I can't believe what it does to my face. First thing I did after I rinse everything off is touching my nose area. Voila! I feel no rocky road on my nose anymore, it is so smooth. It does what it says. I am very happy that I can't stop smiling throughout the night. Haha *embarassed* My skin feels smoother and much more glowing than before. After several times of usage, you can definitely notice the difference. I always feel clean after washing off the mask because aside from removing my white heads, it also removes the dead skin cells which leaves me with clearer and brighter face.

Good stuff, lovely scent, and affordable price. Combo~~

Monday Motivation - Let's Get A Kick!

“If you want something you've never had, you must be willing to do something you've never done before.” - Thomas Jefferson

Do you ever think that you are feeling good with your life but what happens is just so so? I mean you are happy with it. There is just no enough spark. If only there was 'fireworks', it would be much more interesting. There are always "if I have done this, i will feel that" feeling. If those things are in you, then it's time to rethink. And redo I suppose.

It's okay. It's not only you, because I, myself also feel the same thing. You know some time it's not I am not grateful for what I have in my life. But some twists given will probably change my life or my attitude into the good way. I mean experiences are so much fun. At some point, I will feel like "oh..it's very great if I can do this (whatever that is)". You know it doesn't mean I can't do that particular thing, but I just never do that my whole life. And to start doing things is not basically too difficult. AFRAID is what stops me (and probably you) most of the time.

One day, my very bestfriend and I had a trip to Korea. We were brought to Everland - a theme park. I am not a person who will get into roller coaster or the one who awaits the ride. Not a big fan of it! Usually I will simply reject and wait faithfully for my friends. I knew my friend want to ride it so much. That's why I accompany her. When it was our turn, I was so scared that I thought probably I should stop there. How if I couldn't breathe when I was up there? How if it was a very long ride but I couldn't stand it anymore? Nobody can stop the ride in the middle right?

After all, I was there on the ride. Sat down, screamed the loudest I could, closed my eyes real tight, and sometimes peeped through because I was so curious how was it like opening eyes during the roller coaster.

The roller coaster picture taken when I was on the Everland Gondola

Later on, I just know that that roller coaster is the world's steepest wooden roller coaster. Haha. I can tell you that the first time it went down, it felt like forever. Phew! As you may see, the first fall starts on the right side of the picture. If I was too afraid at that time, I may not know how it is like to be on that ride and will never be able to tell you this story. I am glad I have done it :D This is the first big roller coaster I have ever rode.

In real life, you have to be brave. It helps you to experience so many exciting things that you have never had before. Be bold and be tough! Don't be afraid of what people will say. If you have faith on what you are going to do and have planned it well, you will go through it. There is nothing impossible, as long as you are willing to do anything (positive) to reach it, eventually you will get there. Rethink of what you've done until now, it may need a little twist here and there. So, what are you waiting for? Who knows it will bring you to somewhere brighter? ;) Go! Try new things out there because when you look back in your life, you'll regret the things you didn't do more than the ones you did.

Movie: Edge of Tomorrow

Yesterday night I watched the new release movie, Edge of Tomorrow. It is starred by Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Like what the tagline tells: live. die. repeat, the movie itself shows us the repetition of the same day all over again. After William Cage (Tom Cruise) dies in the combat, he will wake up again and repeat the same day. He doesn't know what happens to him until he meets Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt) who has once experienced it.

This film is about an invasion by alien called Mimics. William Cage has to fight in the battle but it is not easy. He dies and as always will wake up and repeat the same day. Pretty much it looks like playing a video game. If we dies in the fight then we will repeat the game. The same thing goes with Cage. He dies, he repeats the day. The good thing is that each day he wakes up he learns new thing and manages to go further in the invasion.

There was one scene that catch my attention. In order to live longer in the invasion, he has to learn how to fight the Mimics. That's why Rita puts him in a place to fight fake mimics. He is not someone trained to go for war. For sure, he got killed and has to repeat the day. I am not sure how many times he wakes up until he stopped that training. But he grows stronger and know the techniques after those repeated training.

At last, when he thinks that he has lost the power but still has the desire to win the invasion, he tries to do different thing and keep on going to the final end with the thought that there is only one last chance. Either Cage or Rita do their best in that battle.

First point that we can take from the film is that "practice really makes perfect". We always feel bored when doing times over and over again, but without our realization actually we are being better each time we repeat the process. When Cage is in training with Rita, we can't count how many times he fails. What we know for sure is that after the training, he becomes cleverer than ever because he has known what works and which one doesn't.

Second point is we never know whether to get another chance or not. Therefore, we have to do our best in every chance we get. How if we mess up our last chance. Cage and Rita can't miss that last time of theirs. If they mess up, their struggle from the beginning is useless. Of course none of us want to mess up with our things, right?

To sum it up, if you still have the time to practice, practice more. If you have to repeat the same process, repeat it and get the points. Eventually, you'll get the hang of it. You'll figure out the things that work and which don't. There will be one time you might need it. It will prepare you to face the bigger battle in your lives. After all, you will need those experiences later. Pay attention to the details. Good luck!
