Hey everyone! I'm back here to share with you my skincare routine that I've been having recently.
Here are the sequence: toner - serum - moisturizer - blemish control - sunscreen
Here are the sequence: toner - serum - moisturizer - blemish control - sunscreen
1. Skin [mal:gem] fresh - Etude House
This is an oil control toner with a fresh scent which I like very much. I use this mostly at night after I wash my face as a toner. If I am too lazy or run out of cotton, I just spray it on my face and do a little 'tap tap' on my face. Actually this product can be used as a toner and as a facial mist to freshen up your look when you are out. When you feel you look dull and have that tired face after being outside for quite a long time, just spray this toner onto your face and you will feel fresher. It does bring 'some life' to your face ;)
2. Green tea seed serum - Innisfree
After applying toner, I put serum as my next routine. This is by far my favourite serum. It really works on me. I feel that applying this serum is a very good choice of mine because I can see difference after a few days using this. My face looks glowing and "tuing tuing" springy haha (I can't find a proper word to describe it x.x) It just feels so good. That's why this is my second bottle of it. But, I feel that the consistency of this new one is a little bit different from my old one. I think it's not very concentrated like my old one and the scent is also not the same. I don't know whether it's because Innisfree has changed its content or there is any other reasons. Could someone please tell me if you know?
3. Green tea seed cream - Innisfree
Next step is applying moisturizer which most people say that it's a must. Actually I bought this because of a recommendation from a friend of mine. She sells beauty stuffs and at that time I want to find a moisturizer that suits my oily skin. I want to moisturize my skin but don't like to make it looks greasy. This is what she recommended and I love it. Usually my face will be oily the next day I wake up in the morning. But, by using this, my face is not that oily like when I used my other moisturizer. It doesn't break me out, too which is great! That is the reason I purchase another one after I finished my first one.
4. Blemish control daily skin-clearing treatment - Kiehl's
I put this only on my red spot and acne marks. It has salicylic acid in it which helps with acne. I find this stuff helps a lot with my acne marks but it is not instant. You have to be patient with it. If your acne is really small, yes it is quick in clearing it up. I need like 3-4 days for the small acne to flatten and need some more days for the mark to reduce. I also use a mask which contains of green tea, oat, and rice milk to speed up the reducing mark process.
5. Sunprise water essence - Etude House
I use this on top of my blemish control just because the girl on the Kiehl's counter told me to put on sunscreen if I'm going out with the blemish control. I ever went out without sunscreen just on its own and my face turned very red especially on the red spots when it came to very hot days. Although it's water essence, it can feel greasy on me if I apply too much. So, I just pour it out a little bit on my fingers and rub it between my fingers before applying on my face. And please take note I only do a 'tap tap' on my face because by rubbing it, it leaves my skin looks greasy even before I am out from my house.
So, that's my skincare routine. I hope you like this kind of post :)
PS: the green tea seed serum is worth your try ;) It's so good that I'll recommend it to anybody >.<
